Transcription: In 20 years of teaching, I heard the question, why do I need to learn this more times than I can count? It's really important for children to understand the relevance of what we're asking them to learn. So in creating the strategy series, we wanted kids to hear from a wide variety of individuals who use strategies in their work and to see the use of strategies in everyday situations. We want kids to realize that they can build a personal set of problem solving strategies that will be effective throughout their lives.
